Aegyptosaurus is a North African plant-eater that lived during Late Cretaceous. Its name means "Egyptian Lizard". It was 15 meters long and 5 meters tall. This large dinosaur is probably smaller relative of the gigantic Argentinosaurus from South America.
When Aegyptosaurus lived, Africa and South America was still connected and it may have moved to this North African location over many thousends of years, involving into a smaller version of their South American relatives.
Discovered in the same location as Spinosauru it may have been lost in the same bombing of germany. Aegyptosaurus was probably prey for some giant predators as Charcharodontosaurus and Spinosaurus that lived at the same place and at the same time.
